STANDARD

While Sipho is not a fussy speaker or facilitator. Acceptable minimum standards with regard to venue, lighting, sound and other issues are to be expected.

If a venue is large (300+) a sound system should be organized, with preferably, a cordless mic. SMILE can arrange these at an additional cost.

Water should be made accessible for the speaker at the podium.

Photographers must be officially appointed by the event organizer to avoid a stampede that may disturb the speaker.

For maximum impact a change/relaxation room is required for the speaker to prepare himself for the event at hand.

ACCOMMODATION:

Privacy and Silence are the main expectations. A safe, secure parking space is another requirement. The hotel/guest house does not have to be FIVE STAR but should be neat , quite and professional (in other words, the owners must remember that I am not a distant relative - I am a guest and I need my privacy and comfort.

It makes better sense to allow SMILE to arrange own accommodation.

TRAVEL:

Sipho Mnyakeni prefers to use own transport.
